Rihanna took back her abusive boyfriend because she feels bad about herself, Oprah said on her show yesterday. "If you go back with a man who hits you, it is because you don't feel you're worthy of being with a man who won't," she said. Guest Tyra Banks said that both Rihanna and Chris Brown had rocky childhoods, the Daily News reports. When she heard about the assault, Banks said, "Oh my God, he's repeating it."

"I think we need to send love to both of them," said Oprah. "Him to be healed, and for her to be healed also." (More Oprah Winfrey stories.)
