We're 'Friends for Now': Levi

Teen dad won't rule out reunion

(Newser) – Is there still hope for a Bristol Palin-Levi Johnston reunion? Maybe, Johnston tells ABC in an interview airing today on Good Morning America. "We’ll just remain friends for now. We’re both cool with that decision, and we’ll see," says the teen, who cites "me not being mature enough" as one reason for the break-up. It’s possible fatherhood will change that; Johnston says he is "growing up a lot."

"I don’t do a lot of things I used to anymore, I’ll tell you that," he says. "I’d give anything for Tripp, to be with him. There are a lot of changes when you’re a father, when you hold him for the first time, you know."

We were just, we were in a fight, and trying to see if we can make things work. But this is what it kind of ended up turning into. But we'll see what happens. - Levi Johnston, on his break-up with Bristol Palin

It's just us not, me not being mature enough, or something, and having a kid and thinking it could be better—better for us to separate for a while. - Levi Johnston

I thought I was told parents who aren't married are incapable of being good parents...

What happened to the good ol' conservative "values" here?? a) you're mature enough to screw=get married! You can "see what happens" later. b) marriage isn't about getting along well, it's about legitimating that b*stard child! Single mother = tramp. Hypocrites to the power to ten. Y'all signed up for the "you play, you pay" school of morality, but that only applies to other people apparently. Electioneering garbage...

You know that you are cruel to a young woman that made a bad decision. You know you are cruel because you can't even spell out the insults you throw at someone that cannot defend herself to you and your petty, spiteful words. You, sir or madam, are a coward.
