(Newser) – Rihanna isn’t ready to confirm she's back on with Chris Brown, for fear of fan backlash, reports Bang Showbiz. The singer told a pal, “I’m too ashamed to go public yet.” And not just about her relationship—don’t expect Rihanna to mention anything about the case at all. “"She will not be publicly commenting on the photo of her beaten up. She desperately wants the whole situation to go away,” a source says.

“She understands fans are worried about her and genuinely appreciates all their love and support, but she just wants to forget about the incident with Chris.”

She will not be publicly commenting on the photo of her beaten up, her injuries or the case, a source says of Rihanna.

Not a fan but I do hope she stays well. However, I also expect her hear he kills her. Just because he did more than beat her.

So bizarre when someone who makes sense so often abruptly exhibits such a glaring character flaw... What a mean thing to say!

Not a fan, and I don't care. But I do think she's foolish, and will laugh if he kills her.
