(Newser) – Natasha Richardson's death has added a grim chapter to a history of misfortunes in the Redgrave family, the Telegraph reports. Various marital failures and controversies have often led to speculation about a Redgrave "curse"—something Richardson always dismissed. Richardson herself went through an acrimonious divorce; when she married Liam Neeson, she once said, "I was told our marriage would be cursed."

Richardson's grandfather, matinee idol Michael Redgrave, was revealed to be bisexual after his death; her father, director Tony Richardson, was also bisexual and left her mother, Vanessa Redgrave. Her aunt Lynn Redgrave divorced her husband after he fathered a child with their daughter-in-law. And Neeson, was hospitalized in 2002 after suffering a broken pelvis in a motorcycle crash.

Karma is a load of rich creamery butter. Acknowledging real karma (not the diluted western kind) means accepting the law of ETERNAL return, i.e. that your actions in past lives can also affect you. So by that definition, the people who died in the Holocaust deserved it, because it's just a result of their previous actions and behaviours.
