The 80-year-old denies wrongdoing, but authorities say one of his daughters fled during an attempted rape and reported his alleged crimes. California's John Gardner will serve 2 life sentences

(USER SUBMITTED) - Confirming suspicions that have swirled since his arrest for the murder of 17-year-old Chelsea King, John Gardner admitted yesterday to killing both King and 14-year-old Amber Dubois almost a year earlier. The San Diego district attorney won't seek the death penalty against Gardner, reports NBC San Diego , who had guided authorities to the skeletal remains of Dubois after his arrest on condition that that could not be used against him. Goel Ratzon allegedly had 21 women, 49 children in cultlike atmosphere

(AP) - A 60-year-old Israeli man who kept a harem of at least 21 women who bore him 49 children has been charged with enslavement, rape, incest, and other sexual offenses. Goel Ratzon was arrested last month but wasn't charged formally until today. Ratzon, who remains behind bars, denies wrongdoing.
