(Newser) – The crew of Liam Neeson’s latest film is “bereft” over the death of his wife but will continue shooting, Entertainment Tonight reports. Chloe will focus on scenes that don’t need Neeson, who is mourning wife Natasha Richardson. “There are some scenes with Liam Neeson which have not been completed, (but) we do not feel this is the time to address that matter,” says a statement.

“I had the opportunity to meet Natasha at the opening of the play I did with Liam in New York last year,” said Chloe director Atom Egoyan. “Her intense pride and affection for her husband was so clear, as was his passion and love for her. I’m so devastated for Liam’s loss.”

The best thing for Liam is to grieve now, bond in grief with his family & for the media to back off. In a couple of weeks it will be better for him to finish this film and keep busy. He and his sons have a LOT of living to do together.
