ABC Newsman Murdered in Brooklyn Home

Found dead in bed with stab wounds to chest, neck

(Newser) – A longtime ABC radio newsman was found stabbed to death in his Brooklyn home yesterday, reports the New York Daily News. George Weber, 47, was dead in his bed with wounds in his chest and neck, police said. His apartment was ransacked, but there was no sign of forced entry. Weber was well known in the city from his work on WABC morning radio, but had recently begun working for ABC's national radio network.
