Coming: Dating Show for People With 'More to Love'

(Newser) – Fox is producing a “dating show for the rest of us” featuring average-looking and average-size female contestants competing for the love of an ample “Kevin James-type,” the Hollywood Reporter reports. Titled More to Love, it was inspired by the success of Bachelor and The Biggest Loser, which challenged the industry assumption that TV viewers only wanted to watch beautiful people.

“Most of the country isn't a Size 2,” a producer said. “We want to send the message that you can be the size you are and still be lovable.” The show is now in casting, and no air date has been set.
