(Newser) – A cop-turned-Fox-newsman has been charged with drunk driving and reckless endangerment after careening into a police horse, reports the New York Daily News. Prosecutors say New York Fox TV newsman Mike Sheehan, who refused a breathalyzer test, told cops after the coliision: "What's the matter? I didn't hit nothin'." Sheehan blames the horse. The horse, named Manhattan, suffered minor injuries and fled the accident scene. He was captured a block away.

didn't do anything wrong, didn't hit nothing ?? how did his car get damaged ? as a former policema, he knows that a breath test refusal is the same thing as acknowledging guilt. should be very interesting Reply

Love that "I didn't hit nothin'..." Like a good Fox/O'Reilly type, he probably speaks in college-educated English most of the time ("bloviating"), but then turns on the working class schtick to express his victimology. Reply

I'm sure he had just a 'fair and balanced' amount to drink. Reply

Former Cop- above the law? Gees. Maybe he should give Rush and Newt a call, I'm sure they know of a great Re-hab. Reply
