(Newser) – As Chris Brown prepares for his arraignment today, “intense” negotiations on a plea deal are under way, a source tells the New York Daily News. “It’s expected to be resolved at some point soon. Rihanna wants it resolved as well,” the source says. Brown is seeking to avoid jail time and a “strike” on his record. Meanwhile, he is expected to plead not guilty or to ask for another postponement.

Did you would know that when a battered spouse does not testify against the abuser in court, the abuser is more likely to be convicted by a jury? And apparently you should research why woman don't leave instead being self righteous about Rhianna!

Jenna clearly has no clue of the horror of domestic violence. Sure, Rihanna is in a better position than other battered women, financially, to escape her abuser, but her actions and behavior are all too familiar. Suggesting she likes being abused is patently stupid.

So no jail time and no strike on his record? That's street cred!
