Suicidal Alabama Dad Kills 4 in Family

Man kills two others in wife's family ahead of divorce trial

(Newser) – A man shot dead his wife, teenage daughter, and two members of his wife's family before taking his own life in northern Alabama, AP reports. The man's body was found yesterday near his home, which had been burned to the ground. His divorce trial was due to start today and investigators believe his wife's relatives may have been on the witness list.

Yes, because these people in homicidal rages wouldn't feel bad if they didn't own guns... everything in their lives would be peachy..... c'mon... if this guy hadn't had a gun he would have run them over with a car, or doused them in gasoline, or used a big "THAT'S a knife"-style knife, or whatever else...

AC: All of which are a hell of a lot harder to perpetrate in order to maximize your kill than a gun, many of which are specifically designed to kill (anyone? anyone?), yeah, people. Show me an instance where someone was stabbed from 100 yards from a concealed attacker. The 2nd amendment has been misinterpreted for far too long and the founding fathers have proven how wrong they could be on other issues (slavery, women's rights to vote, etc.). It's gun banning time - as a culture, we've earned the punishment. Reply
