(Newser) – Bob Dylan has stoked the flames of an old rivalry with the Rolling Stones, says the Independent. "They are pretty much finished, aren't they?" the songster observed in a recent MTV interview. Dylan noted that without bassist Bill Wyman, his former duet partners “are a funk band. They'll be the real Rolling Stones when they get him back."

Bob Dylan's mediocre vocals were the exact inspiration for Jimi Hendrix's move to be his own front man. He said something like, if Dylan can do it and get away with it, so can I.

Righteous, TC, I've often thought that Dylan has something to say, he just needs to have someone else say it!

Lets face it folks, ALL these chaps (Dylan included) are well, geezers. They also are all accomplished musicians and helped create the soundtracks of our collective youth. So get over it! How many of the current new musicians will still be relevant in 4 1/2 decades? I give them credit for still giving it a go.
