Even the Right Can't Stand Glenn Beck

Conservatives take issue with histrionic Fox newcomer

(Newser) – Glenn Beck’s prophesies of doom don’t just infuriate the left. Some conservatives are denouncing the histrionic Fox anchor as well, worried he’ll endanger the movement, reports Benjamin Sarlin of the Daily Beast. Fellow Fox anchor Shephard Smith often mocks Beck, calling his show the “fear chamber.” Right-wing bloggers are both enraged and amused. “Either he’s acting,” wrote one Hot Air personality, “or his mind is… highly nuanced.”

Beck’s conspiracy theories make some uneasy. “I don’t know if he’s necessarily going to incite violence, but I do think it’s irresponsible.” wrote one popular right-wing blogger. “There’s always been a market for this junk,” David Frum wrote recently. “Once that market was reached via mimeographed newsletters. Now it’s being tapped by Fox News.”

It's not just Beck, its' the entire far right. Toss Hannity into the mix and the majority of Fox's talking heads.
