Why Waste Tea When Taxes Are Going Down?

(Newser) – Want to get in on the fun and excitement of the anti-Obama Taxpayer Tea Party? Here’s how, writes Marc Cooper in the Los Angeles Times: “Go to a hobby store. Buy a scale model of a UN One-World-Government Black Helicopter and a tube of glue. Toss the model kit. Sniff the entire tube of glue. You’re all set for the party.”

Cooper sees the parties as an “outbreak of collective insanity,” the likes of which we’ve not seen since "the chilling, televised midnight seance" for Terri Schiavo. What the heck are these people protesting? For all but the richest Americans, taxes are going down. If they’re upset about bailouts or deficits, shouldn’t they have chucked their chai to protest Bush? The whole thing “is a rather garish display of a Republican right that seems to have lost any semblance of political bearings.”

Republicans don't stand for less government as proved by Bush. Dems clearly stand for as much government as possible. When it comes to management, less is more. Let people do what they need to to get the job done and reward them for their efforts. Repubs are DOA? Maybe, but there will always be people who don't want a huge government playing Robin Hood with their earnings.

Still camped out in New York's Financial District after more than two weeks, they're running laptops on a portable generator, eating donated food, and using a makeshift hospital.
