Pelosi Stirs a Feud: 'Jon Stewart Had It Wrong'

Jon Stewart has a new feud going, this time with Nancy Pelosi, the Hill reports. Stewart thinks she's a hypocrite, accusing her of flip-flopping on an obscure legislative maneuver called budget reconciliation now that Democrats are in charge. He played clips showing her denouncing the move when the GOP ran the show and supporting it this year. Or so he said. Pelosi fired back that Stewart got his clips wrong—and she appears to be correct.

“She was not talking about reconciliation in that clip—it was about judicial nominations and the nuclear option. This has nothing to do with reconciliation," wrote a Pelosi spokesman. "Jon Stewart had it wrong (shocking, I know).” Bob Cusack of the Hill looked into it and says "Pelosi is dead on and Stewart is dead wrong." A Stewart spokesman had no comment.
