(Newser) – Director Atom Egoyan praised the “extraordinary” Liam Neeson for returning to work on his film Chloe so soon after the March 18 death of wife Natasha Richardson, the AP reports. “He was very committed to the film and finishing his role,” Egoyan said. “It was just such an unspeakably generous thing for him to do.” He added that Neeson is “doing better” and has “a lot of support.”

He's doing better, but I think it's going to be really difficult for Liam because Natasha was really involved in raising the boys. But there's a lot of people around him. There's a lot of support around him. - Atom Egoyan

Yeah, Liam is still in shock. It will take a full year of missing birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas', etc, before he starts to wrap his head around the reality of widowhood
