Penns Separate—Again

(Newser) – Sean Penn has filed for legal separation from wife Robin Wright Penn less than 2 years after a high-profile reconciliation, Extra reports. In 2007, Penn filed for divorce, though the proceeding was dropped when the two decided to stick it out. Expect the couple—married since 1996—to seek joint custody of their two teenage children, which was an issue last time around.
