The White House Hits Twitter, Facebook, MySpace

(Newser) – The White House is now tweeting, Facebooking, and showing off President Obama's hoops skills on MySpace, the Washington Post reports. Following a election run that relied on social networking sites, the Obama administration is attracting online friends and followers with regular updates. As of this writing, nearly 80,000 are following White House missives on Facebook about the Supreme Court and swine flu.

Just the Prez making/keeping his spot as Chief Narcissist of the Narcissistic Generation. It will ensure his re-election by the younger generation. And, let's not forget that the "news" that comes out of this social networking will always be in the WH's favor and slanted for its own purposes. We really need the news media to act as our watchdogs in government. How stupid are we, really. Reply
