Obama Insider 'Queasy' Over '12 Challenge From Utah Gov.

(Newser) – President Obama’s campaign manager says he’s a “wee bit queasy” about a possible election challenge from Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman in 2012, Salt Lake City’s KTVX-TV reports. “I think he’s really out there speaking a lot of truth about the direction of the party,” said David Plouffe of Huntsman, who has just toured Michigan, a key GOP primary state.

“Huntsman has positioned himself in a great place right now because he is the only presidential candidate really running in the middle right now,” a Utah watcher said. “There’s no question that Huntsman is, perhaps, the most talked-about Republican in the country right now.”

Look up Huntsman Petrochemical Co. - they are one of the largest air polluters in the US. Also, if you are for the "little guy" and mainstream America, Jr. here is not for you. Have you ever heard Chris Rock's comparison of Rich folk and Wealthy? These people are Wealthy billionaires and will have no clue what real people need and go through. At least Obama earned his privileges. Reply

You will also notice on the web-site that the Huntsmans have built and funded a major "no one is turned away" cancer treatment center in Salt Lake City with money from the family trust. John Huntsman Sr. (the gov's father) started out in the 80's as a regular guy but was a real entrepreneur and invented the polystyrene clamshell originally to hold eggs and borrowed the money to buy his first production faclility. From there it's been a self made success story. The family comes from humble beginnings so the "no clue billionaires" labelling doesn't hold water in this case. Having money doesn't automatically make you a cold hearted jerk. They are Mormon's however and that will carry some baggage with it in 2012 I'm sure. Make no mistake; JH is a serious candidate. He's a well spoken, politically savvy guy with good connections and the "values" that will attract the GOP masses, without the extreme tinge. A bit of a Mitt Romney clone but new on the block and a good counterpoint to Obama.

Yeah, let's return to the old patronage system. Society shouldn't pay for this stuff. Rich people should, re: the Medicis, etc!
