President Obama’s campaign manager says he’s a “wee bit queasy” about a possible election challenge from Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman in 2012, Salt Lake City’s KTVX-TV reports. “I think he’s really out there speaking a lot of truth about the direction of the party,” said David Plouffe of Huntsman, who has just toured Michigan, a key GOP primary state.

“Huntsman has positioned himself in a great place right now because he is the only presidential candidate really running in the middle right now,” a Utah watcher said.
“There’s no question that Huntsman is, perhaps, the most talked-about Republican in the country right now.”
