The Paula Abdul roller-coaster continues. The Idol judge says Ladies' Home Journal got it all wrong: She now insists she was never addicted to painkillers, and she never checked into a rehab facility, E! reports. “It was very stressful for me to hear that and to be quoted saying something I never said,” Abdul told a radio station today. “I've never checked into a rehab clinic. I've never been addicted or abused drugs.”

Abdul says the supposed rehab spa she visited is nothing more than a relaxation destination. “It's a spa. I was there for almost three days having fun doing spa stuff,” she said. “It's not a clinic. It's not a detox place. It's a luxurious spa. It’s like taking a mini vacation.” The Ladies’ Home Journal says “we stand by our reporting and are happy that Paula decided to share her journey with us.” (More Paula Abdul stories.)
