Thirty-year-old's stomach ruptures; brother pops out

(Newser) – Gavin Hyatt had been in pain for a month, plagued by a mysterious lump on his stomach. The plumber almost had it operated on but canceled at the last minute. Then one day, in a scene straight out of Alien, Hyatt felt a stabbing pain and saw the lump pushing through his bleeding skin. The lump turned out to be the remains of a twin brother who died in the womb, the Sun reports.

Hyatt drove to the doctor clutching his chest and gritting his teeth. “I have never seen anything like this in my life,” his doctor says. “It was like something from Alien. I didn’t believe Gavin…until I saw him.” Now, Hyatt says he feels fine. "But it has not sunk in yet that I could have had a twin brother. I have him in a jar at home.”

you act like its a freak thing that we don't have to deal with in the USA to have to wait to be seen at a hospital of doctors office. Well I can tell you right hear your full of crap. If your a RICH republican in this country then I'm sure you can probably call your personal doctor in the middle of the night or any other time, but for us everyday folk its a little different. To see a family doctor its one to two weeks by appointment only, thats with insurance. Got an emergency fine go to the ER its anywhere from 1 to 8 hours to get to see somebody unless you go into cardiac arrest in the middle of the waiting room that is. But hey its free right. WRONG its about as free as getting a loan for a car and not paying for it. If you don't pay your credits shot and collectors will be after you like flies on shit. So the only people getting hurt by changing our system is the rich who will have to wait in line with the rest of us aww poor babies wouldn't be special anymore. If the rest of you middle and lower class people would finally figure this out perhaps you would quit screwing yourselves by pretending you're rich and quit voting republican.

Federal law states...NO PERSON WILL BE REFUSED TREATMENT IN A ER DUE TO THEIR ABILITY TO PAY....it's called EMPTALA...I deal wuth it every day, when people use the ER as free clinic..."Oh the Dr. Office want's money before they see me...here it's free"......I have heard it many times
