The FBI has released photos from a video surveillance tape showing two men suspected of kidnapping a 3-year-old boy during a southern California home invasion, reports CNN. The suspects are seen entering a hardware store where they purchased heavy-duty tape which investigators believe was used to bind Briant Rodriguez's mom and his four siblings. The armed kidnappers ransacked the house, stole money and property, and left with the boy.

There has been no ransom demand. A $25,000 reward has been offered for the boy's return, and the FBI has established a Facebook page seeking information in the investigation. Initial speculation centered on the  possibility that a Mexican drug cartel may have kidnapped the toddler, but an FBI official said there was no evidence that the family was linked to drugs.
