(Newser) – US troops in Mosul shot dead a 12-year-old boy who they said hurled a grenade at them, and American authorities complained that Iraqis are paying children to attack, Reuters reports. Iraqi police, however, denied the boy was involved. He was holding about $9 in his hand when he was killed. "We have reason to believe that insurgents are paying children to conduct these attacks, placing children in harm's way," said a US military spokesman. But Iraqi authorities said the boy was selling candy.

Google Pallywood to see the way news" stories are sold to the press and sent to us her to be brain washed. Also, google fauxtography. The press lies continuously blatantly or by omission. There were at least 3 stories about Hamas's wrong doing yet no one published them. Also, it was only Joe the Plumber who visited the city in Israel under 3 years of continuous rocket fire - shot at times schools were getting out since killing civilians is the goal. Then there were other articles about Hamas boobytrapping the zoo, stealing truckloads of supplies which were going to the people, and leaving the country with suitcases of money. Plus many, many others. Were they covered in the states? Of course not. Why not? Pay off? Political? It's unfair and reeks of lack of integrity.

If......Maybe if insurgents had invaded America would you feel the same way if a Russian or Chinese soldier shot your child dead while he was protecting his country. America needs to get off this stupid image of itself as pure and holy. Children and innocent Iraqis would not be dying at the hands of soliders , right or wrong if Bush and the gop had not put us there in the fiirst place. Isnt anyone as pissed as I am that the people who started this war never served in the military and now are gone from power and yet 5000 service personnel and or 1000000 Ior more Iraqis are dead....and for what...just so the republicans and the right wing christians could try out there "lets spread christianity all thru the mid east" theory. It was a failure from the gitgo....I am always amazed by the selfish opinions such as jimmypop's No concern or regard for the people whos country we invaded and trashed without due process or even the blessing of the world. The United States invaded Iraq with only the blessing of GB, Israel and a gaggle of third world nations who only lined up behind for a handout.
