Couple didn't set out to exploit kids, actually made for decent TV

(Newser) – The Gosselin brood is kind of like the family of Russia's Czar Nicholas II. So who is the Rasputin scheming to tear down this public family? Don't just assume it's US Weekly, or TLC, or the alleged Other Woman, writes Foster Kamer for Gawker. The real force working against the Jon and Kate is... all of us.

Gasp!, right? "Because after the show, after the Oprah appearances, after everything else: they're embracing the fame, the lack of intimacy, and letting us too far into their lives. And we went right there with them," Kamer writes. "And now: we're gonna watch them fall apart, too, or at least pretend not to."

That's what is funny. Those of us who are NOT fans are watching it happen and we recognize that fact, that we are watching THEM destroy it. But in all the clips being played around the internet, she is ALL FOR 24/7 camera coverage, Jon is not. I truly think she feels like a star and thats really all she cares about.
