(Newser) – For someone who never talks, Maggie Simpson has a familiar voice. Jodie Foster guest-starred on The Simpsons last night, providing the voice for the youngest member of the family, the Daily Mail reports. In the episode, Maggie gives a speech about babies’ rights. “Throughout the ages the finger-painter, the Play-Doh sculptor, the Lincoln-logger stood alone against the day care teacher of her time,” she says.

Great choice. Jodie's one of my faves. Professional to the bone. Mysterious, but that's her business. I applaud her. Reply

Sorry, but it was Elizabeth Taylor who gave Maggie her first word. Reply

I saw her in that "Nell" movie and couldn't understand a damn word she said. You would think that a famous actress would speak properly. Reply
