Dow Off 156 as Rally Slows

Share

(Newser) – Stocks were down today on continued sluggishness from hard-hit areas like financials, industry, and energy, the Wall Street Journal reports. Though the improving market has led to an influx of cash from investors, key indices for transportation and industry have lagged. The Dow was down 155.88, to 8,418.77. The S&P fell 19.99, to 909.24. The Nasdaq fell just 7.76, to 1,731.24, its fall cushioned by good news from tech firms.
