The US has formally deported John Demjanjuk, who left Cleveland for Munich this evening by medical transport plane and should arrive in Germany tomorrow, the Plain Dealer reports. The attorney for the accused Nazi death camp guard said it may be several months before his client is tried on accessory charges in the deaths of 29,000 Jews in 1943. Demjanjuk’s family maintains his innocence.
