Oprah to Fake Memoirist: Sorry!

Moment of reflection leads talk show queen to apologize

(Newser) – In a moment worthy of, well, Oprah, talk-show queen Winfrey herself had an epiphany while meditating—and called memoir faker James Frey to apologize for publicly eviscerating him on her show. “When I heard her say, ‘I felt I owe you an apology,’ I was very grateful,” Frey tells Vanity Fair. “As far as I’m concerned, that part of my career is over and behind me.”

Fuck Oprah. She just wants to draw attention away from her current blunders.

I want a do-over, on her show. AND, I want John Edwards to join her. White we're at it, let's put Rielle Hunter on there, too. They've all got lots of things to be sorry about. I might even suggest adding Elizabeth Edwards, who continues to publicly flog her philandering husband everywhere I look. Just divorce him and get it over with already.

Should have been on her show. Very public "evisceration" and a very private "I'm sorry" do not equate.
