(Newser) – Liz Cheney went on MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, firing back at Washington Post scribe Eugene Robinson for calling her dad a “crazy old coot.” Robinson had said we ought to send Cheney “back to Wyoming” where he could rant in peace. “My dad would probably rather be fishing in Wyoming, given his druthers,” she said. But he feels strongly that he must attack Obama instead.

Liz said she agrees with dad that defending the legality and effectiveness of waterboarding is important. “You want him to shut up because you disagree with what he’s saying,” she told Robinson, who was also on the show. She noted that no one was telling Al Gore to go back to Tennessee.

Liz Cheney: "Dad Is Not a Crazy Old Coot. He's just a cold, calculated war criminal. I wish you people would quit defaming his evil nature."

Hmm well that depends..its true the American people do consider themselves decent people, however the doors of perception are very deep. Yes our media and grassroots movements tell us we are decent hard working folks across the USA and to a certain extent that is true. Ive never killed anyone and have no desire to...but our government has in both our names, you're right. Also there are ALOT of people and countries across the world that would disagree. Iraq, Timor, Nicaragua, Vietnam (monks burning themselves in the street?) and thats just a few MILITARY wrongs of MODERN times. You eat bananas? Usually here in the states its chaquita or dole. Look into the history and continued policies of those companies (slave labor). How bout nestle? The parties are the same. The spectrum is NOT liberals on the left conservatives on the right, its dictatorship on the left and anarchy on the right. This is how political scientists view the political spectrum. All the degrees of government control fit in between. This country is not a democracy, it never was designed to be. Find the word democracy anywhere in the constitution or ANY of the states constitutions. WE are still responsible for ALL of the crimes that the bankers pretending to be politicians have done to the world in the name of our government. Thats why alot of people out there hate us. Not because of our freedom, because of our actions and blindness.

Not sure what the TX Mafia is, but I agree. If we don't prosecute, I sure hope we don't stand in the way of others who would.
