Governor, VP candidate, and now author. Sarah Palin has signed on with HarperCollins to write a memoir that will be published next spring, reports the Anchorage Daily News. Palin will hire a collaborator but says she'll do most of the writing herself. Neither she nor the publisher will say how much she's getting paid, but the lawyer she hired got $12 million for Bill Clinton and $8.5 million for Alan Greenspan.

"There have been so many things written and said through mainstream media that have not been accurate, and it will be nice through an unfiltered forum to get to speak truthfully about who we are and what we stand for and what Alaska is all about," said Palin. (More Sarah Palin stories.)
