OMG, You Guys, Celebs Wear Outfits Twice!

As recession chic grows, old clothes become the new black

(Newser) – Just as fashionistas have come to terms with our first lady buying clothes off the rack and (gasp!) online, a new bombshell: celebrities are wearing outfits more than once. In public! And it's not just Mrs. O—Liz Hurley rocked the same dress twice, Cher apparently recycled a bodysuit, and Lindsay Lohan is sharing her closet with sister Ali, the New York Daily News reports.

Some have called Michelle Obama's repetition—she wore the same distinctive dress on her husband's first day of work and last week in New York—a fashion faux pas, but others seem a bit more in touch with reality. When the first lady dips into her closet, "People think, 'That's a woman like me who dresses herself,'" says a fashion blogger.
