(Newser) – After 18 years in which he came the face of a sports-broadcasting juggernaut, anchor Dan Patrick will leave ESPN tomorrow. In an Q-and-A with the Cincinnati Enquirer, the 51-year-old outlines his next moves, including a radio show, with a new multimedia outfit.

"I began to think the 'P' in ESPN was for Patrick," says the SportsCenter stalwart. After rebuffing past feelers—including one to host The Price is Right—Patrick says he "felt I'd been in high school for 18 years, and it was time for me to pick my major."
