Gingrich Slams Pelosi on Daily Show

Points way to door over CIA comments

(Newser) – Newt Gingrich “essentially” called for Nancy Pelosi’s resignation as House speaker last night in a chat with Jon Stewart, Gawker reports. "She either should prove her allegation” that the CIA regularly misleads Congress, or “I think she's done a huge disservice,” the former speaker said on The Daily Show. “To have a person who would lie about everybody in the intelligence community” as speaker is “utterly irrational,” Gingrich said.

I'm no fan of Newt (let his record speak for himself), but do feel Pelosi has boxed herself into an uncomfortable corner with her 4x modified spins on the matter. It'll be tough to clarify herself out of the position she's put herself in, after all what she has / hasn't stated; foot-in-mouth disease. She does, in some aspects, makes Biden look like a mute.

Newt still has no proof that Pelosi lied. This will eventually backfire on him & the GOP. It's amazing how lawmakers skip any evidence before pronouncing guilt. Reply
