Spider-Man Actress Found Dead

(Newser) – Lucy Gordon, a British actress who played a small role in Spider-Man 3, was found dead in her Paris apartment yesterday, the Telegraph reports. The 28-year-old appears to have hanged herself. Elsewhere:

  • Hugh Hefner’s ex Kendra Wilkinson has no problem with his new girlfriends—in fact, they’re invited to her wedding, she tells E! “They're cool,” she says. “I like them."

  • Amid rumors of health problems, and repeated denials of same, Michael Jackson is set to undergo surgery today to remove potentially lethal growths from his skin, the Sun reports.
  • One-eighth of the William Morris staff was laid off Monday when the talent agency—which represents the likes of Denzel Washington and Ryan Seacrest—merged with a boutique firm, the New York Daily News reports.
