Drew Peterson’s infamously bad luck might have just gotten worse: Authorities uncovered a decomposing woman’s body and a mysterious blue barrel near his Illinois home yesterday. If the woman turns to be his fourth wife, Stacy, it could undermine his claim she fled with another man. But the body could also be that of another local woman who vanished in 2007, ABC News reports.

Peterson’s stepbrother has said he helped the ex-cop lug a blue barrel from Peterson’s home shortly after Stacy disappeared. “When we saw the blue barrel, we first thought of Stacy,” said the local who spotted it. Peterson, already jailed for the suspected murder of his third wife, has made headlines for his odd behavior. Conceded his attorney, “Drew’s personality is, I’ll say, unique.” (More Drew Peterson stories.)
