Two more congressional seats are in play with the announcement by representatives in Ohio and Mississippi that they won't seek re-election. Rep. Deborah Pryce, who won her Ohio seat by just 1,062 of 220,000 cast, said she wants to spend more time with her family. Also stepping aside is Mississippi’s Chip Pickering.

The Democrats will back the same candidate against Pryce who nearly won last time. Pickering’s seat is less vulnerable. There is speculation he may be aiming to replace Thad Cochran, should the senator step down. Former GOP House Speaker Dennis Hastert announced last week that he would not seek re-election in his Illinois district, which is considered vulnerable to a Democratic challenge.
