Robert De Niro became a grandfather yesterday when son Raphael De Niro and daughter-in-law Claudine DeMatos welcomed Nicholas De Niro, the New York Post reports. Elsewhere:

  • To prove he’s really not dead, Patrick Swayze posed for a picture with wife Lisa Niemi at their New Mexico ranch, the Sun reports.

  • Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has a crush, and it’s not on wife Gwyneth Paltrow, he tells the Mirror. “Lily Allen is fantastic,” Martin says. “She’s one of those people who is so cool that whenever I meet her I feel like I’m back at school and none of the girls like me any more.”
  • Rihanna and her rumored new boy toy, spotted kissing earlier this week, are “just friends,” People reports. Aubrey “Drake” Graham told a radio station yesterday, “I think she's so talented,” but insisted they’re not an item.
  • Heath Ledger's final film, Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, screened for the first time at Cannes, E! reports. It ends with a dedication.
