A "slim, well-dressed man in his fifties" ran up to Rudy and Judi Giuliani in the Hamptons today and threatened to deck him, witnesses tell the New York Post. Sitting outside a Bridgehampton, NY, bakery, the pair was initially startled by the man. "Alright, do it then!" the former mayor yelled. But the Giulianis slipped away as their tormentor hollered from the sidewalk.

Judi Giuliani was seen on her cell calling for their driver. "I want him in jail," she kept saying. Southampton Town Police soon arrived and collared the man, but not before he ran into a cafe and emptied his pockets. The Giulianis were seen at Southampton Police Station later in the day. No word yet on possible charges—or motive.
