Obama Can't Pack the House in Vegas

Tickets left for Reid fundraiser at venue Celine Dion sold out

(Newser) – Not being able to fill a room isn’t a charge usually leveled at President Obama, but, the Los Angeles Times reports, there are still (relatively cheap) tickets available for a fundraiser he’s hosting tonight for Sen. Harry Reid at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Elton John and Celine Dion routinely sold out the venue; Obama hasn’t, despite backup from Sheryl Crow and Bette Midler.

“What makes this extra weird is that I bet Crow and Midler could sell out the theater without the baggage of the president,” Times reporter Richard Abowitz writes.

Oh...let's start a new trend...new administration prosecutes former administration...TC, you are an idiot. I would rather see what Chairman Barry cannot do...SOCIALISM. The second coming of Christ is an absolute empty suit fraud. Wait until 2010 when the electorate regains consciousness.

Harry's not that popular; he barely got elected last time, and Vegas isn't that happy with Obama since he has made such a big deal out of corporate jaunts to Las Vegas. Company's start cancelling trips and going elsewhere and people don't work. Not a recipe for ticket sales.

Well, Denise, as pitiful as that thin reasoning is, I have to give you credit for trying. Where are the rest of Brand Zero's groupies? Talk about lowest common denominators...his hope-and-change spiel, complete with poorly executed fake southern-preacher accent, was excruciatingly bad from the beginning, unless you happen to be a media-zombie whose brain has been sucked dry of any independent thought and therefore fillable with patently absurd mass marketing declarations, such as Obama is or ever was "eloquent" or a good orator.
