Bruno's Butt Meets Eminem's Face

Angry rapper storms out of MTV Movie Awards

Share

(Newser) – MTV added new category Best WTF Moment to this year’s Movie Awards, but the real WTF moment came courtesy of prankster Sacha Baron Cohen, the New York Daily News reports. Cohen—dressed as gay fashionista Bruno—descended from the ceiling in a jockstrap and angel wings, landing butt-first on a less-than-amused Eminem. The rapper, whose expletive-laden response was bleeped by the live show's censors, angrily stormed out of the theater.

“That was really weird,” said Zac Efron afterward—but was the whole thing staged? “He was pretty mad,” said an eyewitness of Eminem. “He practically walked into a camera. He couldn’t leave fast enough.”

What does Eminem expect? For over a decade he's been spouting homophobic hate speech, he deserves to have a gay character's crotch shoved in his face. Although Cohen may not be a gay man, he was striking back at an a-hole, bigot on behalf of the entire gay community, which I think is very admirable. Sure he may have done it in a slightly immature (but hilarious) way, but he was fighting fire with fire. Eminem is about as intelligent and mature as a 13 year old, and that's probably the only way he understands. You suck, Lame Shady

Well, comments like carbonated_turtle's is the very reason people continue to despise homosexuals. Yeah, maybe Eminem's delivery may not be very tactful, but he has the balls to say what many of us think. If you're gay or sympathize with the "lifestyle" more power to you, but suggesting somebody deserves somebodies ass in their face because they don't agree with that lifestyle is ludicrous.

I know Em has issues and such, but really...he walked out? What a baby. Anyway, I'm too old for this childish crap. Reply

Cohen gets more disgusting every day. By the way - Howard Stern did this years ago as Fartman. Cohen is a cheap imitation. And Slim Shady is a moody pussy. Reply
