Gown-Clad Bride Saves Strangers From Flames

(Newser) – It was an “eventful day” yesterday, a Connecticut woman said afterward: She got married and still had time to save a family from a burning house. On her way home from her wedding reception, Georgette Clemons spotted smoke. Still wearing her wedding gown, she dashed from the car and burst into the home, rescuing the family, including a pair of dogs and two ferrets, the Connecticut Post reports.

“My shoes got messed up, but what are you going to do?” she said.

Georgette, you put the rest of your bridezilla generation to shame. All the "starter marriage" types and bridezillas who choose their bridesmaids by dress size need to see they will never measure up to a real woman like you! May you become a role model to the next generation and may this drive a fatal stake through the zombie heart of bridezillamania. Reply
