Nancy to Obama: 'Oh, You're a Lefty!'

(Newser) – No snubs today. Nancy Reagan even got a kiss on the cheek from President Obama as she appeared with him at the White House, reports ABC News. With the smiling former first lady by his side, Obama set up a commission to plan the centennial of Ronald Reagan's birth in 2011. "Oh, you're a lefty!" Reagan said as he signed the act. "I'm a lefty," the president responded.

The happy encounter came after Obama made a seance joke about Reagan during his first press conference as president, which required him to call and personally apologize. Reagan also said she felt slighted that Obama didn't invite her to the White House when he lifted the ban on stem cells. After today's ceremony, Obama could be heard telling Reagan that Michelle "just thinks the world of you."
