(Newser) – Al-Qaeda isn't waiting for President Obama to address the Muslim world to criticize him. In a new video, the group's No. 2 leader called Obama a "criminal" on the eve of his visit to the Mideast and said his "bloody images" cannot be concealed by "theatrical visits or polished words," the BBC reports. The president plans a major address to Muslims in Cairo on Thursday.

Ayman al-Zawahiri called Egyptian officials who will welcome Obama "slaves" and said they are complicit in turning Egypt into an "international station of torture in America's war on Islam." Some analysts think the new al-Qaeda message is a sign the group is worried that Obama may sway minds, notes the AP.

Uh oh, this trip is going to be a nightmare for his security detail. I saw the detail in action in Obama friendly, midtown touristy Manhattan on Date Night and thought it was overkill with the snipers and all. Perhaps it was a training exercise afterall ? Reply

It's so nice to see that people can still openly discriminate like ignorant inbred pigs and people just dismiss it because it's just strong Islam beliefs. The last time someone in America had similar beliefs they were called the KKK - who were also a bunch of inbred pigs. And when is the last time you've heard of them? And I'm not talking about al-Zawahiri discriminating because Obama is black, but because he didn't pray right. Give me a break. Al Queda is doing it to throw us off the track because we all know that Obama is a communist, fascist, socialist who pals around with terrorists and was so devious he forged his own Hawaii birth certificate at the age of 2 just so he could tear down America. Whoever said the his Birth Certificate was doctored. From what I understand, no one outside of government officials has seen it, so publicly, there is no US birth certificate. If there is a certificate, I don't understand what the big deal about making it public is. He was elected to a public position which requires specific criteria to hold, which should be made public to those he represents. Last I checked, the president is SUPPOSED to serve the people, not government officials.
