Ahmadinejad: Holocaust a 'Big Deception'

(Newser) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today again denied the Holocaust and excoriated the concept of liberal democracy, AFP reports. “Liberal democracy has been exposed to the world by its protection of the most criminal regime in the history of humanity, the Zionist regime,” he said in a campaign speech, referencing Israel. That was accomplished, he said, “by using the big deception of the Holocaust.”

“The thoughts and the system of liberal regimes have lowered the benchmarks for human perfection,” Ahmadinejad said. “The liberal regimes cannot solve the simplest of the political issues in the world.” The Iranian president, who hopes to win another term in June 12 elections, suggested looking back. “The only way to replace the liberal thought is to go back to the teachings of the divine prophets.”

psycada if you alien the stars maybe you'll see the truth. Eisenhower ordered the pictures to be taken by our soldiers as they liberated these death camps. Why? So, nobody could say this Holocoust didn't happen as it is written. It happened alright; and Ahmadinejad is a lair..........

Er, massive burial pits have been found in many places, including the new research showing the hundreds of thousands that were shot by the Germans as they advanced into Russian towns and slaughtered Jews in mass pits as they went. No oe lacks the ability to question but people who come in with their predisposed racism and try to pretend there were no extermination camps spit on the memory of the millions who were murdered for the sake of their religon/race/peoplehood. Most of the people who make these outlandish and broadsweeping false science statements quickly show their agenda. Science is the search for truth. There is mountains of evidence for the Holocaust and deniers just seek to incite hate.

You're long rant is amusing, but misconceived. I will say this once more. I do not nor ever have denied the holocaust, yet there are plenty of stories that contradict SOME events of the holocaust. You seem to be taking my curiosity for the truth of all events as a denial of ANY of the events. Which is wrong and unfair. Also, regarding your "easy out" accusation, I, in now way expect anyone to take what I or anyone else says as truth. I would call you a fool if you did. I encourage anyone to do the research on your own, for anything anyone passes off as truth. The entire point I have been trying to make is that we have allowed the holocaust story to be told as the ultimate truth, with out question, but whenever anyone (with serious prominence) tries to research it, their findings are labeled as anti-Semitic and quickly disregarded. I am not a teacher, nor do I have the patience for it, so I will not provide a history lesson in the comments sections of a newsboard. Please open your mind to the fact that history as you have been taught, may not actually be true. As far as your "non-existence of conflicting reports" claim goes, that just shows your ignorance and closed mindedness even more. It doesn't take much to find the conflicting reports. As far as being "told", you didn't disprove any of my arguments, you just labeled me as ignorant and uneducated and added statements which refute what I didn't say. So quit patting yourself on the back already. NiNY - No, I don't think slavery was "not that bad." But I could argue either way on it. That's the fun of debating, but only when participants can do so with an open mind without insulting the other party, which doesn't happen too often on Newser. You're usually an exception though, I'll give you that. I enjoy reading most of your posts.
