Susan Boyle’s condition has improved, but Britain’s Got Talent aides know what she really needs: “There is a plan afoot to reunite Susan with her cat,” one told the Mirror. Pebbles, whom Boyle famously called for mid-breakdown, may be brought down from Scotland if doctors approve the plan. Even without a visit from Pebbles, “she’s doing well and she’s going to be out soon,” an insider said.

Boyle’s spirits started to lift after Simon Cowell’s phone call, sources say. Hearing that her album is still on “was exactly the tonic that Susan needed,” one says. “She immediately started jotting down ideas for songs to go on the album and even started to practice singing them. She’s gone from an extreme low to an extreme high now she’s realized this hasn’t scuppered her one shot at success.” (More reality TV stories.)
