(Newser) – Meghan McCain is “too undisciplined and impulsive” to handle Twitter, writes the Cajun Boy on Gawker following yet another of McCain's 140-character tirades. The enemy this time? Brian Williams, who “had the audacity to lower his head ever so slightly in a blatant act of deference” at the end of an interview with President Obama for his NBC special, leading McCain to rant, “Brian Williams bowed to Obama? WTF.”

Of course, the tweet is no longer posted: McCain always “deletes it all once she realizes that she's acting like a ridiculous, bratty child”—thank goodness for screen shots. Hey, Obama just recently “bowed” to the Saudi king, so clearly “this is part of some left-wing plot to have Allah take over,” right? "Let us all now take off our shoes, turn in the direction of Mecca and bow as practice for what is sure to be a regular national ritual in the future." Or, better yet, let's "take Meghan McCain's Twitter away from her."

How does going on Twitter and making little statements make you an attention whore? I am not a conservative and do not agree with all of what she stands for but at least she speaks her mind and seems to do it honestly and from the heart, not simply to perpetuate Republican talking points or a right-wing agenda. I think this last tweet was a bit silly, but she has every right to her opinion.

Keybored, no, those were the worst. Carter was pretty bad too, but in the end, even he might be better than Obama. I am not a huge fan of Truman because he screwed up Korea, but he did make the ultimate decision that led to the end of WWII, so he gets a push there. Woodrow Wilson, while a brilliant man, and a visionary, however, he could not sell the Versailles Treaty to America, so ultimately, he loses points. No, I am happy with the list I created. Reply

Because it truly is too early to determine Bush Jrs. place in history. Most of you believe it is his fault that we are in the economic mess we are in, yet it started in 1995-96 with the Clinton administration's pushing sub-prime loans and then the deregulation of the banking industry in 1999, again, Clinton. Yet the media and Pelosi and Obama say its Bush's fault and you believe him. You blame him for the war in Iraq, claim he lied to you, yet you conveniently forget the same words, that we must act in Iraq because of WMDs, coming out of Clinton's and Albright's and Gore's and Kerry's and Kennedy's mouths back in 1996-1999. Its easy to find if you search on the internet. But conveniently, the media, and the liberals, forget this. No, Bush did what he said he would do, which is give you back the money that Clinton overtaxed you on. Then, when we were attacked by terrorists he told you we were no longer going to be reactionary, but that we would act against all imminent threats. He told you it could be thru economic sanctions (Korea), negotiations (Iran) or use of Miltary (Iraq and Afghanistan). And the western world applauded these statements on 9/13/01. And he followed thru. You scream that we had no exit plan....what was Kennedy's and Johnson's exit plan when they got us into a shooting war in Vietnam. When is Truman coming up for the exit plan in Korea? 2-bits, I don't put on an act, you didn't get a rise out of me. Am I frustrated? Yes, I am. I can't believe how easily manipulated the masses are in this country. Heck, just look at the slogan of this site "Read Less, Know More". It falls in line with MOST of the American public who probably haven't read a book in decades. Laziness. They let others tell them what to think. And because of that we have a guy that is not qualified, not experienced, leading our country in one of the gravest times of our country's history. Reply

keybored - I haven't just called out names....if you look, there is one person continually giving out thoughts AND facts to support those thoughts, and then there is you and your gang. You want to try and match fact for fact with me, and not just what the media tells you, fine, we can do that and in the end I will be right, but you will still believe what you do now because I find that most liberal "thinkers" really don't listen and won't contemplate that they are wrong. I will. I have. I don't agree with the GoP on many things. Gay marriage is something that the federal government shouldn't involve itself with. Abortion should not be debated, its not the law makers business to tell women what to do. At one time I believed in government sponsored healthcare, mostly because I figured it can't be as bad as the system we have today. I listened to other arguments and went back to the republican side on that. I will listen to your side. I will agree with it at times and I will disagree with it at others. I will almost always vote republican because the issues I vote for are business, taxes, and military/defense. Those are what matters to me. I have, however, voted Democrat before. Ed Rendell has gotten my vote as Governor twice. Can you say that you will listen to factual based debates and hear the other side and contemplate their points? I haven't seen it in any of your posts or NutsinNY yet - him and his ankle biter comments...what the hell is an ankle biter? And you guys complain when I call you special? Its okay for you to guys to call names but not the conservative side? Please. You are so enlightened. I won't be here to play with you tomorrow....at least not in the AM....have meetings that will last until at least lunch, so we can discuss this further if I get back in the PM. Have a great day.
