(Newser) – Tiger Woods has won the Memorial, breaking out of a four-way tie with birdies on his last two holes for a 7-under 65 and a one-shot victory in his final tournament before the US Open. Overcoming a four-shot deficit, he took the lead with a 9-foot birdie on the 17th, then wrapped up his second victory this year with a 7-iron that stopped a foot from the hole for a tap-in birdie.
