(Newser) – The onetime Catholic priest whose cavorting with his then-girlfriend led to his departure from the church is headed for the altar—as the groom. The Rev. Alberto Cutié, aka the "kissing priest," and his girlfriend of 2 years plan to wed this month in the Episcopal church, which he joined last month after they were photographed in a clinch on the beach, the Miami Herald reports.

Good luck to them. I just wonder how a man who can't keep one vow will do with another. Reply

A vow of celibacy is a whole different thing than a vow to love & honor a babe like this. She's a "cutie." Reply

I think its ridiculous to still insist on vows of celibacy. It only leads to huge problems as the Catholic church well knows Reply

The one thing I guess I fail to understand is if a guy is married he can become a Priest still but if he is a Priest he can't get married...strange. Then again perhaps they like the legaxy of the Priests and little boys better than a priest who falls in love with an adult? Reply
