We are told it is a mitzvah to make love and to especially make love on Shabbat, when God’s presence is close," she writes. "It’s all good, it’s all kosher, and it’s a wonderful reminder that Judaism is pleasantly focused on how we live, rather than what happens after we die." Once reality royalty, now they're forced to eat 'tacos and burritos'

(NEWSER) - The famewhoring and ridiculous antics of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag finally backfired, leaving them broke and forced to live rent-free at Spencer's parents' house. (Although, it is a Santa Barbara beach house, so don't feel too sorry for them.) They explain to the Daily Beast how it all went wrong:

• They thought that living a fake life in front of the cameras (for example: Through it all, they never actually broke up ) would pay off for them in the long run, but it turns out "you can be too famous," Spencer says. "Reality TV is not a career." His antics for the camera made him so widely detested he can't find a job, and is considering going back to school. Heidi has been appearing on a reality competition show.
• Spencer says they never truly had any money, because they spent it as quickly as they got it. A whopping $2 million went toward hiring writers, producers, and engineers for Heidi's failed music endeavor .
• "I probably spent a million dollars on suits and fancy clothes,” Spencer says. “My whole million-dollar wardrobe—I would never wear that again. They’re props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props."

(NEWSER) - Oprah Winfrey ’s longstanding, recently-ended feud with David Letterman was, everyone assumed, the result of his numerous “Oprah, Uma. Uma, Oprah” jokes at the 1995 Academy Awards. Not so, Letterman told Jon Stewart last night: “She hated me long before then.” Turns out the Late Show host pulled a dine and dash when he found himself eating lunch at the same restaurant as Winfrey on an island vacation, convincing the waiter the two knew each other and Winfrey had agreed to pay for his meal. (NEWSER) - Spencer Pratt was arrested in Costa Rica yesterday, but don’t get too excited: Everyone’s favorite cyber crime-fighter , wannabe music impresario , and of course, self-proclaimed famous person has already been released. Pratt broke the news of his own arrest to TMZ , which then confirmed he was busted for felony possession of a firearm while in an airport on his way back to the States. More»

(NEWSER) - Spencer Pratt, really a parody of himself at this point, confesses that he chose “fame” (infamy?) over wife Heidi Montag. “We love each other but I'm a famewhore and I'll never grow out of it,” Pratt tells People , adding that Heidi “doesn't want that.” Despite his admitted famewhorishness, Pratt insists their impending divorce is not a publicity stunt. Heidi “doesn’t want to be Speidi anymore. She wants to be Heidi Montag: the sex symbol.” (A goal that clearly has nothing to do with fame.) More»
