After his infamous 2007 voicemail for his daughter went public, Alec Baldwin had “very serious” suicidal thoughts, he tells Playboy in an interview, People reports. “I spoke to a lot of professionals, who helped me,” he said, adding that Harvey Levin of TMZ, who released the voicemail, is “a human tumor.” Elsewhere:

  • Jessica Alba is off the hook: No one will press charges against her for vandalizing Oklahoma City with shark posters, the Oklahoman reports.

  • Rihanna is embarrassed about having to testify at Chris Brown’s hearing and “doesn't want to recount one of the worst nights of her life all over again,” a source tells the Daily Mirror. Meanwhile, his PR consultants have plotted Brown’s every move since the alleged assault, right down to his “I’m not a monster” video,TMZ reports.
  • Now that Madonna has permission to adopt Malawian orphan Mercy James, she is calling the 4-year-old daily. On her last call, “She said, ‘Mommy is waiting for you across the seas,’” an insider tells the Sun.
  • Even if you’re a Playmate and Hugh Hefner’s ex, you can’t go around sneaking underage girls into nightclubs. Holly Madison tried and was promptly bounced, TMZ reports.
